Map Darkness

Question :

I have recently started playing this RP server. However, I have been experiencing random darkness in the map, and have been unable to play properly due to lack of proper vision. My question is, why is this happening? Is it due to faults in my Gmod? Perhaps, but the fact remains the same that I cannot see properly when in the server. However, I am able to see the map well with the light when playing in single player mode. Making it seem to me that something is not working out with my gmod and the server. I am not exactly sure what is causing this, however, would love to know. Please see if you can help me out of this mess.

When you say "darkness" it's when you look pu the skybox?
